Woolfords
Woolfords is the first village you meet when entering our area from West Calder. It is a small village made up of 49 houses and Woolfords Farm. The smallest of our village halls is in Woolfords but it is a great resource for our community and beyond, great for small gatherings and meetings, the hall is situated at the start of the Fairy Walk to Cobbinshaw Reservoir, this path was created by Watif and has been an essential part of daily life for the Woolfords residents, the walk was designed to be an accessible path suitable for prams and mobility aids, at the end of the walk you reach Cobbinshaw Reservoir, home of Cobbinshaw Angling Assosiation, or follow the road back in a loop to Woolfords hall, it's perfect for an afternoon stroll.
Auchengray
Auchengray
Auchengray is situated in the middle of our community, making it the perfect place for the local primary school. Auchengray also has a wonderful community centre in the recently refurbished church. The recent refurbishment means that Auchengray has a modern kitchen and two beautiful halls, its a lovely setting and well used. One of the many community events that happen here is the weekly café, along with weekly yoga, knitting groups and much more.
Auchengray is a busy place with two working farms in the village, the village is one of the highest points in the area, with beautiful views all around.

Tarbrax
Tarbrax village is situated at the foot of Tarbrax Bing near the Lang Wang, on the way to the beautiful Pentland Hills. Tarbrax is the biggest village in the area with a vibrant busy community, they boast a lovely big village hall, perfect for events and parties, even music festivals.
Tarbrax also has a beautiful common area with a fantastic kids play area and lovely green space, close by is the refurbished bowling clubhouse and green, both situated in the heart of the village.
There is so much more to our area, so many beautiful areas and hamlets spread throughout this gorgeous landscape.
