Supporting our communities, creating opportunities
We provide grant funding to support people, projects and organisations across our communities.
Our grants are one of the ways we invest directly into our local area. We help locals get off the ground, support learning and development, remove barriers and create opportunities for people who live here.
We currently offer three different grant programmes, providing support for community projects and activities, education and learning, and the cost of learning to drive.
Community Grants
Funding for groups, organisations and projects that will make a positive difference in the WATIF area.
Whether it’s bringing people together, trying something new, developing local facilities or creating opportunities for our communities, this grant is here to help good ideas happen.
Education Grants
Financial support for people living in the WATIF area to help with the costs associated with education, learning and development.
We know that accessing education can come with additional costs, particularly when you live in a rural area. Our Education Grants are designed to help make those opportunities a little more accessible.
Driving Grants
Learning to drive can make a huge difference when you live rurally, opening up access to employment, education, training and opportunities that can otherwise be difficult to reach.
We provide financial support towards the cost of learning to drive for eligible people living in our area.
